Branch of the American Association of University Women welcomes you.

activities and the interesting programs offered to all of our members.
AAUW
was established in 1881 to encourage continued intellectual growth. Today our national, state and local Association have members
who are using their education in the service of women and society.
The Oxnard-Hueneme Branch was chartered on April 9, 1959 and celebrated
its 45th anniversary in April 2004.
The Educational Foundation enables our members to contribute to continued education and/or projects. On our branch’s 35th anniversary, we started an Educational Foundation named unit, which evolved into a research and projects grant on our 40th anniversary, and became completely endowed when it reached $35,000 in 2001 at the state convention in Monterey. Our branch also gives local scholarships to Oxnard College women, as determined by our committee.
Membership is open to any graduate holding approved degrees from accredited colleges/universities, or a degree from an institution outside the U.S., but recognized by the International Federation of University Women. Student Affiliate membership is open to current students enrolled in college.
The annual dues (for the year July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009) shall be paid to the Treasurer. Per Association convention, dues are $76.00.
